Halloween is coming up in a few and Barcelona’s opportunities to celebrate the spine-chilling feast does not disappoint! In Spain, Halloween mainly features ghouls, ghosts, witches and zombies. Go all out while shopping for your costume and be the creepiest you can! If you don’t know what to get up to this year, take a look our list of spooky Halloween haunts, club nights and other events below! By the way, in Barcelona, the day after Halloween (November 1st) is a public holiday called Todos Los Santos — All Saints. All the more reason to make it a wild one!

The Halloween seasons is made up of two days here in Spain. While the night of costumes and fun takes place on the 31st, the real holiday happens on November 1st – Dia de Todos los Santos (All Saints Day). Get in on the real spookiness by visiting a real cemetery! Cemeteries are open longer the whole weekend before the 1st of November!

Meet & Dance


This weekly event features two amazing dance instructors that specialise in Latin dance. During the evening you will improve your salsa and bachata skills while meeting other interesting internationals! Monday the 30th, however, Meet & Dance will be getting a creepy twist! After having experienced the Latin passion, Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ choreography will be taught to get the Halloween party started!

Fuckin’ Monday


After Meet & Dance City Hall is the place to be to get your creep on! Dress up for the occasion, go completely crazy and get ready for an epic Halloween Glow Party! As usual, the bar will be open from midnight until 1 and a beer pong contest where the winner will take home 50EUROS and the runner up will be comforted with a bottle of champagne!

Barcelona Ghost Hunt Halloween


After last years extreme success, Stoke Travel is back with their unique and creepy scavenger hunt! The event is set out to discover the secrets and uncover the mysteries of Barcelona’s haunted Gothic Quarter. In teams, you’ll be given clues to complete challenges at various checkpoint’s in the barrio. Thereby, the best team will win an amazing prize!

The Spanish village will have a terrifyingly exciting event for all ages including families and children! Sunday the 29th of October, various Halloween activities will take place in the carless town. From a haunted house, to decorating pumpkins, your Sunday will be filled with the spooky traditional activities.

Witch Festival


Want to go hard core this Halloween? The small Village of Sant Feliu Sasserra, (2 hours away from Barcelona) is having a two day witch festival to honour the victims of witch-hunt. In the 17th century in this same village 23 women were killed because they were claimed of witchcraft. You can also find a witch museum from this creepy village!

Razzlloween

Sala Razzmataz’ event on Halloween night will be a massive party! With 5 rooms, they host one of the biggest club nights this year! ‘El Dirty Haunted Mansion’, ‘El Sucio Cemetery’, ‘Lolita: Bloody Camp are just a few examples of the room names.
