The journey will not end in Madrid. On Sunday on the way back to Barcelona, we will stop in Zaragoza, the capital of Aragón, to experience the lively Pilar Festival. The festival attracts young people from all over Spain, transforming the city into a large party during these days. Though the festivities certainly include religious aspects like the offering of flowers, people flock to the streets to see the parade featuring giants with even bigger heads, concerts, dancing, and endless activities that keep revelers awake all hours of the night.
