The trip starts on Saturday evening at the hotel in Marrakesh (March 24th) and ends on Friday evening in Tangier (March 30th). We pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel (Don’t forget to send us your flight details!). After a free evening, you’ll also get to experience the charm of the famous Jamaa el-Fnaa market square which is spilling with delicious local foods, hand-crafted clothing and jewelry, and much more! Hotel accommodation is provided in Marrakesh.

DAY 3: MARRAKECH – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – AIT BEN HADDOU – DADES GORGES (Monday)
Our day begins with a provided hotel breakfast so we can head towards Ouarzazate, known as the “Door of the Desert” through the Atlas Mountains, filled with stunning natural views, and then we will stop in Tizi n’Tichka for some amazing panoramic picture opportunities. We will continue south and follow the 6km track that leads to the village of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for its Kasbah (which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Several famous movies, such as the Gladiator and Game of Thrones, were filmed in this beautiful town. Then we continue to the Dades Gorges were our accommodation will be waiting for us. We’ll continue through a path filled with beautiful scenery and unforgettable Kasbahs (Islamic Fortresses), each one unique from the next. After several stops, we will arrive at one of the most iconic places in the South: the Todra Canyon. Cliff walls of epic proportions and immense beauty surround the channel of the River Todra; it’s a climber’s paradise! Time to head to the Sahara desert. We will only take the necessities as we take a camel ride about a 1 hour into the desert to reach our Berber camp. We’ll have the chance to sandboard de dunes and catch the sunset over the Sahara before heading to dinner at the camp in the Sahara desert. You can climb the dunes near the camp with a warm cup of tea and enjoy the peace and quiet of the desert and relax after the adventure-filled day. Finally, we’ll spend the night in typical Berber tents, under a spectacular canopy of stars. Accommodation in Berber tents and traditional dinner included. Some bonfire party might also take place.

DAY 5: SAHARA DESERT – FEZ (Wednesday)
After an unforgettable night in the desert we start with an early climb to the closest dune, to catch a glimpse of the sun rising over the dunes.. then a filling breakfast before we kick off a day filled with exploration through several quaint and beautiful towns in Morocco. First, we head to Rissani, the first imperial city of Morocco. We will go through Erfoud, which is rich in fossils and history. We will pass the Ziz Valley and take in the sights of the palm trees and canyons surrounding us. Once past the port of Tizi-n Talghomt, we will stop in Midelt for lunch. Continuing our journey, we’ll venture through the cedar forest and stop to see the Moroccan monkeys in their natural habitat! Next, we will go through Ifrane (which has been called the Moroccan Switzerland) and arrive in Fez, Morocco’s cultural capital. Hotel accommodation and dinner is provided in Fez.

DAY 6: FEZ – CHAOUEN (Thursday)
After breakfast, we explore one of the oldest imperial cities. Founded in 808, Fez is one of the first political, religious, and cultural capitals in the world and is truly incredible. We will begin the official tour at the Golden Doors of the spectacular Royal Palace. Next, we will wander around and inside the historical Medina, allowing the beautiful architecture and surrounding sites to transport us back over 1000 years ago. In Fez, you will get to experience everything: mosques, madrassas, karabansarais and several other cultural sites. When the tour is over, we will head to Chaouen, the famous “hippie,” fully painted, blue city. Hotel accommodation will be provided in Chaouen.
