cabronas
Goats aren’t that bad. Some would say they’re pretty cute. But in Spain calling someone a cabrón (or calling a group of people cabrones), meaning male goat, definitely isn’t a compliment. Though it can be used jokingly among friends (i.e. “This cabrón beat me in FIFA again, like always”) it normally carries the connotation of “jerk” or “ass.” It’s one of the most common insults in Spain – poor male goats can’t catch a break!
