“…Puta Madre” is one of those expressions that can be used in a wide variety of ways. You can use it when you’re happy, when you’re angry, when you’re excited, when you’re scared, and so on. Directly translated “puta” can mean “bitch” or “whore” but the Spanish use it very similarly to the way we use the word “fuck” / “damn”. You can add things to the expression to completely change the context – “De Puta Madre” is a great way of expressing something is awesome. While “Su Puta Madre” is used as an insult which means “your mother is a whore” but it is used in similar context as the english “mother fucker”
