Spanish has a long list of funny and interesting expressions that are often difficult to translate directly into english. But what about Catalan?
One of the most understandable expression of the Catalan expressions. It won’t be a surprise that it doesn’t make any sense when translated. It means “I have drunk oil”, but the people here use it to express their frustration if they have failed something. When their plans have been foiled or when they just cannot achieve their goals.
