The first location that comes to mind is El Corte Inglés, of course. This commercial centre houses hundreds of brand name clothing lines, cosmetics, electronics, gaming products, home decor, shoes and specialty food items! Yes, it’s a little bit pricey, but you’re paying for quality and convenience! Head over the location in Plaça Catalunya and get started!
Arenas Centro Comercial
A more affordable shopping option, this shopping centre at Plaça Espanya has everything under one roof! From clothing and shoes to electronics and jewellery for all ages. Most of the shops at Arenas are affordable international brands that can easily cooperate on a student budget! Take advantage of having all these shops under one roof and cross as many items off your list as possible!
Passeig de Gràcia
Think Rodeo Drive, Via del Corto, 5th Avenue and Champs Elysées! The Passeig de Gràcia is the swankiest place to shop in Barcelona! If you have expensive taste and a wallet to match this is the place for you. You’ll find big chain shops, high-end brands and nice cafeterias and restaurants when you need a break. You can also see the beautiful modernist Gaudí buildings La Pedrera and Casa Batllo as you stroll down the street.
El Triangle
El Triangle is another commercial centre with several stores to shop through, including a massive FNAC. So if you’ve got a lot of electronics on your list, you better buckle up and head over the The Triangle! FNAC is another one-stop shop for all things computers, video games, cell phones, movies and so on. You don’t have to be an avi techie to navigate the store either, everything is quite clearly mapped out for visitors!
La Maquinista
Another modern shopping mall is La Maquinista! Anything you need, you’ve got it. This is the place for serious gift shopping. This shopping center has all the chain stores you ever could imagine in just one address from typical Spanish brands like Desigual to less common overseas brands like Forever 21! The only downside is its far out location in Bon Pastor.
Maremagnum
Another large shopping mall is the Maremagnum in Port Vell. It’s located right on the water near 
the Aquarium and La Rambla! Just the others on this list, this shopping centre is full of all the typical brands you might need. If you do your shopping here, don’t forget to take a break in of the restaurants overlooking the water! It will be well deserved!
Gràcia neighbourhood
Here’s one that a little bit different from the rest of the suggestions on this list! Gràcia is a nice and very local neighbourhood of Barcelona that has still retained its small town vibe. There are significantly less tourists here, but that doesn’t mean the shopping traffic will be any less! Here you will find the most authentic botiques from sustainable shops, independent designer brands and vintage shops. A highly recommended area to explore and find personal gifts for the Christmas!
