FLAX & KALE
Come and discover FLAX & KALE. It’s a really nice place were the staff care about your health and well being. The food at this restaurant is described as a gastronomic and healthy, with a large selection of vegan food and salads. You can also eat the typical bacon and eggs if you prefer a more traditional brunch. Flax & Kale is in the center of Barcelona, in the Ciutat Vella area (Plaça Castella). For brunch, the doors are open every Saturdays and Sundays, from 10,00am until 5,00pm.
COPASETIC
Just outside the metro Rocafort, is the restaurant Copasetic. “Copasetic” means completely satisfactory, exactly the experience that they want to provide. The decoration is vintage and the menu created from locally sourced, mostly organic ingredients. They offer brunch and lunch on the weekends from 10,30am until 4,30pm and weekdays from 11,00am, until 3,40pm. Choices include English breakfast (eggs, bacon & beans), French (tortilla, croissant & marmalade) and Greek (yogurt, honey and walnuts)! Give them a call before coming to make a reservation.
THE BENEDICT
Are you missing your traditional British food or you want to discover it? Keep calm and go to The Benedict! With the British decoration and British food, you will feel like you’re visiting England for the day! Between the delicious Eggs Benedict and various pancakes; you can’t help but to be satisfied! The Benedict is located in the Gothic Quarter; in the center of the city (metro Jaume I). You can brunch between 10,00am and 4,00pm during the weekdays and between 10,00am and 5,00pm during the weekend.
BRUNCH & CAKE
At first glance, Brunch & Cake looks like a bakery, but in reality, it’s a nice restaurant where every cake and every meal is home made. The staff is very kind and the team’s philosophy is “in grandmothers we trust“. There, they will offer you a large selection of cakes, between the different muffins, cupcakes and pancakes. You can find this place near the metro Universitat, in the area Eixample. They don’t take any reservation and are open every days from 9,00am until 10,00pm.
PICNIC
PicNic is a restaurant in the Born area, near the Ciutadella’s park. There, you will meet Jaime (from Santiago del Chile) in the kitchen and Tara (from California) in the dining room. All the team members come from different countries and bring their personal touch into the kitchen. To brunch, you will need a budget of 15/20€ per person (depending if you are hungry or not) and they are open from Friday until Sunday, from 11,30am until 5,00pm, and you need to make a reservation before coming.
